Windows Media Center RSS 2.0

I've been running Windows Vista for two months now as my main desktop at work and it's by far the most astounding OS from Microsoft to date.  When I shift back to my Tablet running Windows XP suddenly food has no taste and the world is a dreary shade of gray.

I have Media Center running on Windows Vista.

I have Visual Studio 2005 running on Windows Vista.

I'm compiling apps for Media Center on Windows Vista in Visual Studio 2005.

In a nutshell: If you are a developer for Media Center, you ain't seen nothing yet. :-)  You're gonna love it...

Funny Charlie, that's kind of how I feel about watching analog television after being shown the brilliance of HDTV.

Charlie- A question for you-- You say that you are running Media Center on Windows Vista--Is this running on your home machine?--a certain Gateway 675? (Don't get freaked out, you told me that's what you were running when I met you at a Geek dinner last winter.) BTW thanks for hooking me up with a second tuner card, I'm in dual tuner bliss thanks to you... Anyways thanks for the cruel post, eventhough us mortals have to wait atleast another year it will be worth it.

I don't have Windows Vista running at home -- yet. :-) The Gateway 901x you reference is running the current version of Media Center (2005). It will be a little while yet before I foist Windows Vista with Media Center on the family. While it's fairly stable, it's still obviously beta -- wife acceptance factor (WAF) has to be considered.
