Windows Media Center RSS 2.0

This happened a couple of weeks ago so I'm a bit tardy about telling you.  Check out the new landing page at http://msdn.microsoft.com/mce.  We refactored the page a good bit to help you drill down on all the great resources at MSDN and elsewhere on developing applications for Media Center.

Let me know what you think...

I really like the design and structure you guys have for the site. I'm a student developing for the media center for one of my classes and I've been able to find things a little easier.

However, (maybe I haven't poked around enough) I can't find any really good examples or descriptions on how to access information from a website outside of MCE. For example, what my team and I are attempting to do is query a database or an xml file that resides on a webserver when a user selects a menu option within our application.

Any ideas, or tips would be helpful.

Great job to you and your team!
