Hi there,
Is anyone using the Vista CTP as their primary MCE box yet? Is that a really dumb idea?

I have the CTP, but was going to install it on a non-MCE capable box... I just wanted to see what was new in the land of MCE for myself.

Have you written a blog entry about you experiences so far with its Media Center functionality as your primary DVR?

I wouldn't mind trying it out, but upgrading my HP box is a pain, so I would want to upgrade, have it totally bail, and downgrade. I think all my hardware is supported, but it may not give me the 100% Avalon experience.

No, not yet. There isn't enough time in the day to blog about everything -- I'm gonna keep focusing on platform stuff. Maybe Matt Goyer will take the time to outline some of the consumer goodies.
